Job Description - DMS/EMS/SCADA Analyst - Professional Development Opportunities

We are currently accepting resumes for a DMS/EMS/SCADA Analyst position in Albany, OH.
This position is Hybrid.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Real-Time SCADA
  • Provide technical support for Real Time Communication and Data Exchange including but not limited to Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Distribution Management System (DMS), Inter Control Center Communication Protocol (ICCP), Energy Management (EMS) Systems, and other technical infrastructure used in Operation Centers. Position requires a high degree of adaptability, and a focus on meeting customer needs and continuous improvement in the systems supported.
  • Entry level assistance providing support to problem resolution with Senior Level guidance.
  • Entry level understanding of specific equipment and software support activities.
  • Maintain reliable operations of the SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP systems with Senior Level guidance.
  • Look for opportunities to improve the quality and reliability of SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP data and related services.
  • Entry Level assistance with maintaining real-time data interfaces with Senior Level Guidance.
  • Look for opportunities to improve/implement SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP tools and software.
  • Entry level assistance with keeping SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP tools up-to-date with current technologies with Senior Level Guidance.
  • Entry level ability to build and maintain custom SCADA and DMS/EMS one-line displays.
  • Entry level ability to perform modeling, check-out and commissioning of Remote Terminal Units Real-time Data with Senior Level Guidance.
  • Entry level ability to build and maintain SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP models with Senior Level Guidance.
  • Entry level assistance with implementing internal SCADA, DMS/ EMS, and ICCP standards.
  • Look for opportunities to improve/implement Human Performance Initiative rules and Key Performance Indicators around SCADA processes.
  • Entry level assistance keeping DMS in sync with GIS
  • Entry level assistance troubleshooting DMS and OMS interface
  • Entry level assistance in identifying issues with processes and tools and provide possible solutions and provide input to more seasoned personnel.
  • Entry level assistance to support stakeholders with common SCADA related issues.
  • Implements standards in appropriate measures with guidance from higher-level team members.
  • Assists higher level team members with overall SCADA compliance items.
  • Participate in training activities as part of advancement for other team and group members

Minimum Requirements: Education requirements: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related Technical field or higher from an accredited college/university or high school diploma and two years related military or electric utility technical experience. Work Experience: Three years DMS/EMS/SCADA experience with Associates Degree and Five years of experience with a high school diploma. Individuals with a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of DMS/EMS/SCADA experience may be considered for entry into the organization at this level in addition to the DMS/EMS/SCADA experience noted above.
