As a dockworker, your main responsibility is to load and unload product onto and off of trucks and trailers. Frequently exerting 50-65 pounds of force. Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of product.
Able to work independently and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Report accidents immediately to a supervisor.
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
Stage doors and product in designated areas to ensure efficient truck loading.
Notify line supervisors when a product is missing or needs to be manufactured.
Physical Demands: This position requires heavy lifting, constant twisting, climbing, stooping, climbing ladders and walking. Shift is 5:00am to 3:30pm
