The Docket Clerk manages critical legal and filing deadlines for designated clients and cases. This role involves reviewing records to accurately input schedules into the firm’s calendaring system, generating detailed action-item reports, and monitoring deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain docket and calendar system for multiple legal teams
Generate and distribute weekly docket reports
Calendar deadlines for filings in docketing software
Review & save incoming filings from various sources
Assist paralegals with preparing documents for filing with various courts
Prepare and distribute calendar updates to attorneys and legal staff
Assist with mailing/scanning
Perform administrative duties as needed
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience using CompuLaw, CourtAlert and CourtLink
A strong knowledge of court procedures, regulations, and legal regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks, with excellent time management skills to complete projects in a timely fashion
Above all, possess the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information

The hourly pay range for this position is $45.05 – $49.45 in San Francisco and $40.11 – $45.60 in Seattle and Los Angeles. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
