JOB SUMMARY:


This is a Document Screening Specialist - Revenue Specialist II position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Return and Revenue Processing, Screening Unit. The incumbent is responsible for preparing and processing documents related to tax and other remittance payments, plus researching tax accounts to apply payments for upload into the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX). The incumbent also gathers and tracks statistical information and assists with training of new employees.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

  • One year of experience researching or updating account information in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).

  • One year of experience using the Fairfax Imaging Processing System.


SPECIAL NOTES:



  • The required work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Overtime may be mandatory during peak periods.


SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,330.00 monthly/$39,960.00 annually.
