The Document Specialist is responsible for preparing deals for the F&I department to be sent to the Billing Clerk. This is an entry level role into the F&I Department, assisting our F&I team with detailed paperwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
• Ensure that all required documentation is obtained and submitted to the finance source so that finance contract can be paid in a timely manner.
• Work with Sales Manager to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
• Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.
• Establish and meet monthly objectives.
• Verify insurance with customers’ agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Some weekend work required

• Experience in an automotive dealership or office environment preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency and pride in getting paperwork right the first time.

• Ability to learn and execute dealership finance and sales documentation quickly and accurately.

• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where priorities shift daily.

• Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple deals at once.

• Professional, trustworthy, and discreet when handling sensitive customer and financial information.

• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset — you’ll work closely with F&I and Sales Managers.

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership systems (Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, RouteOne, etc.).

• Positive attitude, coachable, and motivated to grow within the dealership.

Required:

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Compensation (hourly/spiffs)

• $20.00 per hour
• Additional compensation based on performance and CSI

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Friday/Saturday availability required
