Our brick-and-mortar location opened in September 2024 with a guaranteed 5-year commercial lease—backed by personal financial commitment. This isn’t a short-term experiment. As our Assistant Manager, you’ll help grow and oversee our dog daycare operations. You'll split your time between supervising playgroups, mentoring teammates, and actively helping convert leads into long-term clients. 1. Supervising staff
2. Leading off-leash playgroups of 8+ dogs

We are paying top dollar for the specific skill set that only experienced daycare managers bring to the table.

Even if you’ve managed teams in retail, food service, vet clinics, or animal rescue—this role requires something different:

You must have direct, hands-on experience supervising off-leash dog groups in a daycare setting while simultaneously managing staff.

If your background doesn’t include this skill set, this role is not the right fit.

🐶 About the Role

This is a hybrid position that starts with an 80% focus on Dog Wrangler duties and 20% on Assistant Manager tasks. As the business grows, your role will shift toward full-time leadership.

Duties include:

• Supervising structured playgroups
• Ensuring safety and enrichment
• Mentoring junior team members
• Following up with leads
• Giving tours and converting inquiries into paying clients
• Helping improve systems, communication, and client retention

💡 As revenue grows and we hire additional wranglers, this role will shift to 100% Assistant Manager. You’ll help grow the business so we can bring in team members to take over your hands-on dog group responsibilities.

💰 Compensation

$20–$25/hour, depending on experience and performance

Monthly Commission Bonuses based on NEW daycare revenue:

• 15% on $1,000–$1,999
• 17.5% on $2,000–$2,999
• 20% on $3,000+

💡 Example: If daycare revenue grows from $5,000 in June to $7,000 in July, you earn 17.5% on the $2,000 increase ($350 bonus).

High performers can earn the equivalent of $30+/hour.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of professional dog daycare management experience is required—this means supervising staff and leading off-leash playgroups of 8+ dogs
• Experience leading or supervising staff in a pet care setting strongly preferred
• Confident communicator with a calm, assertive energy around dogs and people
• Someone who thrives in a results-driven, no-micromanagement environment
• Reliable, coachable, and excited to take initiative
• Able to work on-site in Everett, WA, including NO weekends or holidays.
