What You’ll Actually Earn in a 6-Hour Shift

Small Dogs ($95 each, ~1 hr each)

4 dogs = $380 services → 20% commission

• Hourly: $16.66 × 6 hrs = $99.96
• Commission: $76
• Rebook Bonus: $20 (you rescheduled 4 dogs for their next visit)
• Tips (~$15/dog): $60
• Total = $255.96 (~$42/hr)

5 dogs = $475 services → 25% commission

• Hourly: $99.96
• Commission: $119
• Rebook Bonus: $25 (5 dogs rebooked)
• Tips (~$15/dog): $75
• Total = $318.96 (~$53/hr)

Large Dogs ($135 each, ~2 hrs each)

2 dogs = $270 services → 20% commission

• Hourly: $99.96
• Commission: $54
• Rebook Bonus: $10
• Tips (~$20/dog): $40
• Total = $203.96 (~$34/hr)

3 dogs = $405 services → 25% commission

• Hourly: $99.96
• Commission: $101
• Rebook Bonus: $15

• 20% commission on $350/day or less
• 25% commission on $351–$500/day
• 30% commission on $501+/day

Easy Upsell = More Pay 💰

Our $20 Spa Package (nail buffing, teeth brushing, optional spritz, seasonal bandana) takes almost no extra time — but it changes your paycheck.

Example: 5 Small Dogs ($95 each, ~1 hr each)

• Without Spa Package → $319/day with tips = $53/hr
• With Spa Package ($115 each) → $369/day with tips = $61/hr

That’s an $8/hr raise just for offering a simple add-on clients love.

Referral Bonus = Long-Term Pay

We don’t just reward you for today’s work — we reward you for growth.

• Bring a client with you (or refer a new one) and earn 5% of their revenue for one full year.
• Example: one doodle at $135/month = $81 extra/year.
• 10 loyal clients = $810/year in referral bonuses — on top of your daily pay and tips.

Compensation Structure

• Hourly Base: $16.66/hr (always paid, even if clients cancel)
• Commission Tiers: 20% up to $350/day, 25% on $351–$500/day, 30% on $501+/day
• Bonuses: $5 per rebooked appointment + 5% referral bonus for one year
• Tips: 100% yours — we even cover credit card processing fees

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 AM–5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• 6-hour shifts only — sustainable and safe, not 10-hour marathons
• No weekends. No late nights. You’ll be home by dinner
• More hours may be available once your books are steady

Requirements

• 24+ months of recent professional grooming experience (not just bathing)
• Completion of professional grooming training (grooming school, vocational program, or documented apprenticeship)
• Must have stayed at your most recent grooming position for at least 12 consecutive months
• Ability to complete grooms independently across multiple breeds
• Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand most of the shift
• Willing to complete a paid test groom as part of the interview
• Must live within ~15 minutes of Everett (6628 Evergreen Way, 98203)
