Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Client Services Representative to join our team at It’s A Dog’s Life Resort & Spa. This position is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their furry companions. The ideal candidate will manage client check-ins and check-outs, handle financial transactions, and support our sales and marketing efforts. The front desk receptionist at It's A Dog's Life dog daycare handles all client interactions, including greeting clients and their dogs, checking them in and out, and answering inquiries. They also manage phone calls, emails, and reservations, ensuring a positive customer experience. Additionally, they will be responsible for our marketing and social media, as well as assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining records, and helping with the facility's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Greet clients and their dogs warmly, check them in and out, and answer their questions and concerns.
Communication: Manage phone calls, emails, and reservations, and relay information to clients about their dog's stay.
Administrative Tasks: Process payments, manage inventory, manage facility maintenance of all equipment and buildings, and manage the cash drawer.
Facility Support: Assist with tours, provide information about daycare and boarding services, and help with the facility's daily operations.
Marketing & Social Media: Responsible for uploading photos and updates to social media. Using CANVA, creating marketing dialogues, and developing marketing events that will get our name out to local areas. Create marketing videos and publish them for marketing purposes. Teamwork: Collaborate with daycare assistants to ensure dogs' needs are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Social Media expertise – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn and other sources
- Marketing and creative mindset, video creation.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Previous experience in front-office or customer service roles is often preferred.
