In this hands-on role, you will be working with partners to ensure Dolby equipment is operating correctly and supporting specific post-production or specialty workflows across various facilities/venues. Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to tailor your solution to the project at hand are highly valued attributes.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Provide technical liaison and engineering level support, including equipment installation, repair, testing, integration and calibration to studios, post-production facilities, theatres, and other specialized venues\n * Provide direct technical support for grading, mastering, and QC of Dolby Vision for theatrical formats\n * Train customer personnel on proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment\n * Manage screenings and events presented in Dolby Vision. Events may include premieres, press screenings, advanced screenings, etc.\n * Working with the wider Content and Industry Relations team, provide educational sessions on Dolby technology and workflow\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n * Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of Digital Cinema projectors (electrical, HVAC, advanced repairs like light engine exchanges, etc.)\n * Ability to work collaboratively and independently as required\n * Ability to interact with customers, including filmmakers and creative talent, as well as colleagues and executive management with confidence and under pressure\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n * Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required\n * #LI-VH1\n\n\n\nThe Burbank, CA base salary range for this full-time position is $90,500 - 120,100, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
