Job responsibilities: 1. Track new technologies and trends in the medical imaging informatics and medical big data industries, and plan forward-looking technology platforms. 2. Gain insight into the business needs of healthcare organizations in the medical imaging and healthcare big data space and participate in the design of engineered solutions. 3. Lead the engineering team to plan, design and implement Enterprise Imaging platform by integrating technologies such as cloud computing, big data, AI and blockchain to realize the acquisition, storage, governance, analysis and visualization of medical data in multiple modalities such as radiology, ultrasound, pathology, cardiovascular and test, lead business modeling and system analysis, and participate in architecture design. 4. Drive the implementation of industry standards and specifications such as DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE, etc. in the platform to ensure system integration and interoperability. Follow HIPAA, GDPR and other regulations to ensure system security compliance. 5. Support customer training to ensure proper use of the system by users.
Job requirements: 1. PhD or MS degree in medical informatics, biomedical engineering, software engineering, computer science or similar field, and at least 5 years of technical work experience in medical imaging informatics or medical big data. 2. Proficient in medical imaging informatics, familiar with medical big data, proficient in acquisition, storage, exchange, analysis, retrieval and visualization of multimodal medical data such as radiology, ultrasound, pathology, cardiovascular, test, etc., proficient in design, implementation and operation and maintenance of at least one medical information system among PACS, VNA, RIS (Radioiogy), CVIS (Cardiovascular), PIS (Pathology), and proficient in healthcare Enterprise Imaging. 3. Proficient in many standards and specifications in DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE, familiar with HIPAA, GDPR and other regulations, with practical experience in implementing these standards and specifications in software and information systems. 4. Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and products and technologies from AWS, Azure, GCP or at least one other cloud provider in these directions, and hands-on experience using these technologies in healthcare software and information systems. 5. Hands-on experience developing software in Java, C#, JavaScript, or at least one other programming language. 6. Good communication skill and coordination ability to work with customers, business, and technical teams.
