Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Donation Manager for our client, a nonprofit advocacy group aiming to advance democratic values for their community within the US and worldwide based in New York, NY! This is a wonderful full-time, hybrid, direct-hire opportunity with a dedicated, mission-driven team!

What You Will Be DoingÂ
Efficient "Pledge to Cash" transaction processing and reporting
Strong internal controls for accurate gift recording and fund safeguarding
Collaborative communication with relevant departments
Alignment of financial systems with development operations
Assistance to Donor Center and attendance at National Development meetings
Oversight of gift follow-up procedures
Reconciliation of gift revenue across financial systems
Preparation of financial campaign reports
Creation of new appeal and fund codes
Conducting variance analyses
Supervision of gift processing staff

What You Have To Offer
Minimum 5 years of record-keeping experience in non-profit organizations, including supervisory roles
Knowledge of fundraising and accounting principles
Proficiency with relational database systems; experience with Raiserâs Edge preferred
Familiarity with general ledger systems is advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments effectively
Demonstrated strong customer service skills
Track record of enhancing business process efficiency
Exceptional supervisory abilities
Financially literate with robust analytical skills
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for internal and external interactions
Highly organized with adept multitasking capabilities

Compensation
This exciting direct-hire opportunity offers a salary of $80,000 - $120,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 403B Plan, PTO, and Paid Holidays).Â
