Donations coordinator 

The Donor Coordinator will work closely with the Advancement Pastor, who serves as the lead for all campaign-related efforts. Together, they will track donations, oversee donor management, and ensure the success of the capital campaign. This role will lead the administrative efforts for advancement at Southwest Church. 

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Administrative Leadership & Donor Management: 
• Oversee and manage the donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. 
• Track and process incoming donations, pledges, and donor commitments in coordination with the Advancement Pastor 
• Generate reports on donor engagement, campaign progress, and fundraising trends.  
• Campaign Coordination & Support:? 
• Provide logistical and administrative support for capital campaign initiatives and donor recognition efforts.  
• Assist the Advancement Pastor in maintaining donor stewardship plans and managing key fundraising timelines. 
• Organize campaign-related documents and ensure timely correspondence with stakeholders.  
• Event & Engagement Support: 
• Assist in planning and executing donor-related events, appreciation initiatives, and campaign milestones.  
• Coordinate invitations, donor materials, and follow-up communications for engagement efforts. 
• Work with the Advancement Pastor to ensure smooth execution of campaign activities 
• Collaboration & Communication: 
• Serve as the administrative contact for donor-related inquiries, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality. 
• Ensure all donor interactions and materials reflect the heart and mission of Southwest Church.  
• Work directly with our trusted partner Dunham&Company to ensure annual fundraising, marketing and communication plans are sourced and executed. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree. 
• At least two to five years of experience in fundraising, sales and marketing, and/or public relations. 
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and diplomacy, with a commitment to confidentiality. 
• Demonstrated success in fundraising program support. 
• Proven success working in a multifaceted development environment. 
• Excellent written and communication skills with an engaging, genuine, and mature personal style. 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a proven record of working collaboratively with others is necessary. 
• Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) 
• Experience using CRM software 
• Physical requirements: Constant periods of sitting and repetitive motions. Occasionally able to lift or move up to 20lbs and standing or walking.
