Donor Database Manager

Description

The Donor Database Manager maintains the integrity of the donor database system, manages data integration into the organization’s donor database system, serves as the primary contact for third party processors and lockbox services, and directly supervises the Data Entry Specialists team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Oversees management and maintenance of the organization’s donor database.
• Oversees Data Entry Specialist training, development, and performance management.
• Manages and maintains established acknowledgement letter turnaround goals and team metrics.
• Maintains current knowledge of database management, best practices for acknowledgement, and seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including networking with colleagues at peer institutions.
• Works with Finance to reconcile donation deposits with bank information on a consistent and timely basis.
• Prepares and maintains query reporting, including monthly Dashboard and annual donation reports.
• Oversees and shares standard operating procedures for all processes related to Data Entry team.
• Assists with any and all mission work as needed and requested with some or no prior notice including, but not limited to: serving as a truck spotter, helping with Farm Market/Community Garden/Freight Farms/on and off-site food distributions, preparation of meals, and serving home-delivered meals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Database Management 
• 2 – 3 years’ supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM software (Raiser’s Edge experience highly preferred)
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Strong organizational, time-management and attention to detail skills
• Works Independently and as contributing Team member
• Valid and NYS current driver’s license and access to an automobile
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 35 lbs.
