Donor Marketing Coordinator

Job Purpose: The Donor Marketing Coordinator is a vital part of our Development team, responsible for communicating the impact of our mission in a way that inspires generosity and deeper connection.
The ideal candidate is a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for ministry, and who desires to use their gifts to advance the Kingdom through donor engagement. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Marketing & Communications  

• Create and implement donor-focused marketing strategies to engage current supporters and attract new ones. 

• Manage donor-facing email campaigns, social media, and website updates with Christ-centered messaging. 

• Write and design newsletters, appeals, and impact stories that highlight God’s work through the ministry. 

• Maintain donor journeys and segmentation in Virtuous CRM. 

• Administrative Support  

• Keep accurate donor records, acknowledgments, and reports. 

• Provide clerical and scheduling support to the development team. 

• Event Planning  

• Assist with the planning and promotion of donor and community events. 

• Attend donor and community events to assist with registration, check-in, and donor care. 

• Collect and record donor engagement data at events, ensuring accurate follow-up in Virtuous CRM. 

• Capture photos, videos, and impact stories for post-event communications. 

Qualifications 

• A committed Christian who demonstrates a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. 

• Strong writing, storytelling, and design skills. 

• Experience with social media, email marketing, and Canva. 

• Familiarity with CRM systems (Virtuous preferred). 

• Highly organized and detail-oriented. 

• Event planning or nonprofit development experience is a plus.
