Donor Relations Coordinator - Hiring Now

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Donor Relations Coordinator for our client, a nonprofit advocacy group aiming to advance democratic values for their community within the US and worldwide based in New York, NY! This is a wonderful full-time, hybrid, direct-hire opportunity with a dedicated, mission-driven team!
 
What You Will Be Doing 

• Manage daily processing of pledges, checks, wires, and credit card donations.
• Manage donor records in Raiser's Edge by establishing new accounts and updating existing ones. Input donations into Raiser’s Edge and import details into NetSuite for ledger purposes.
• Reconcile daily reports for recurring gifts and online donations, and assist Payroll Administrator in processing employee payroll deductions for donations.
• Adjust gifts in Raiser’s Edge and provide supporting documents for Finance Assistant to make corresponding adjustments.
• Provide backup documentation for endowment and restricted funds gifts to the Controller
• Coordinate with National Development or Regional Offices for additional donation information.
• Collaborate with Development staff to address donor inquiries through Contribute.org, covering questions about tax receipts and specific donor records.

• Excellent verbal and written communication 
• Dependable and maintains confidentiality
• Keen attention to detail and follow-through
• Proficient in computer applications for recording revenue, adaptable to new software
• Self-starter, initiative-taker, and effective team player
• Works well independently and under pressure
• Willingness to assist beyond immediate job responsibilities
• Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and values
• Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Raiser’s Edge, ImportOmatic, and accounting software.
   

Compensation
This exciting direct-hire opportunity offers a salary of $50,000 - $70,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 403B Plan, PTO, and Paid Holidays).
