Role Overview

As a Donor Relations Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in nonprofit development. This hands-on, entry-level position offers exposure to various facets of donor relations, including stewardship, engagement, and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Donor Stewardship: Assist in the development and implementation of personalized communication strategies to acknowledge and appreciate donors, ensuring they feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions.

• Engagement Initiatives: Support the planning and execution of donor engagement activities, such as appreciation events, newsletters, and special campaigns, to strengthen relationships and encourage continued support.

• Database Management: Maintain accurate donor records in the organization's CRM system, ensuring data integrity and facilitating effective communication and reporting.

• Research & Reporting: Conduct research on donor giving patterns and preferences to inform engagement strategies and prepare regular reports on donor activities and campaign outcomes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to align donor relations efforts with overall fundraising goals and organizational objectives.
