The primary duties of the doorperson are to welcome our guests in a pleasant and helpful manner, and to provide assistance into and out of the property as necessary.

• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working.
• Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Greet guest in a pleasant manner by opening doors
• Load luggage onto carts
• Escort guests checking in with luggage to the front desk
• Call for cabs
• Call the garage for valet cards
• Give directions to guests
• Open front door for guests
• Call for shuttle
• Load and unload shuttle with luggage
• Maintain order of cars on the curb for efficient valet operations

• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
