Job Description - Door Parts Builder

Do you love working with your hands? Do you have experience with power tools and reading a measuring tape? If so we have the right opportunity for you.

Tucker Door and Trim recently joined the Henrico County area as a builder of pre-hung doors. We seek motivated individuals who want to join our team as a Caser. Casers are responsible for using tools to apply trim/casing to our door units. Tucker Door and Trim was established in 1968 and has a lasting tenure in our facilities.

Essential Job Requirements & Duties (including but not limited to):

A minimum of six months experience in building construction or related fields where power tools are required.
The ability to read and understand production documents.
The ability to read a measuring device accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
The ability to recognize different trim materials and profiles.
The ability to recognize door patterns.
The ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
This position requires standing at a workstation for long periods, bending and stooping, pushing and/or pulling, and repetitive motions. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and be able to shift/move 100 pounds throughout the workday.

Pay rate - Up to $23 per hour starting rate, based on experience
