Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Pick up processed documents from sections to prep for scanning. Prepares batched documents for scanning.  Scans documents on image scanner. Inspects images as documents are scanned for quality assurance.  Makes corrections as necessary.  Executes an application program in the data base to generate a bar coded batch cover page.  Generates production schedules.  Operates computer peripheral hardware for production and production control. Opens and reviews incoming mail.  Assembles documents for validation and image production. Examines documents to determine what categories in the data base to input fees.  Assists in research of records and tracking of documents to insure quality control.  Validates documents with validation number and document tracking number. Maintains document log.  Batches checks and forwards them to Fiscal Office for deposit. Opens and reviews all incoming mail.  Assembles documents for validation and image production.  Attaches checks to documents ensuring proper fees have been submitted.  Batches documents based on type of filings/action, filing fee, and volume of documents. Answers incoming Division calls to assist public with filing information as needed. Performs other work related duties as required.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:



  • Knowledge of various Division of Corporations filing types and fees.

  • Skill in operation of validation and/or scanning equipment.

  • Ability to sort data alphabetically, numerically and categorically
