SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm 

SALARY RATE: 

Salary: $23 - $25 / hour DOE 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  

Deliver orders to customers professionally and on time, ensuring excellent service. Receive and process daily rush orders and weekly shipments while verifying order staging. Organize and stock inventory in the warehouse, pull will-call orders for customer pickups, and maintain accurate bin locations. Handle outbound shipments from the Bend branch, including processing warranties and returns with proper documentation. Prepare warranty and return items for shipment to the Tigard branch or directly to vendors. Manage ordering and returning of compressed gas tanks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, collaborate effectively as a team player, and adhere to all company policies and store standards.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with counter/phone sales and calling customers to inform them of any backorders that are ready for pick up on an as-needed basis. Recycle cardboard and empty branch garbage twice a week. Fill freight claims when necessary. Assist with the stocking showroom. Attend ongoing training classes. Work on special projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Warehouse driver delivers orders to customers in a professional and timely manner.  
  • Receive daily rush orders and weekly Corp and Tigard orders.  
  • Check stage on orders.  
  • Another warehouse driver's task is to put away stock in the warehouse and pull will-call orders for customer pick-up.  
  • Maintain bin locations.  
  • Warehouse driver will process ship-outs that need to go from the branch.  
  • Process all branch warranties and returns and verify that paperwork has been neatly and properly filled out.  
  • Warehouse drivers will also prepare warranty and returns for shipping out to the branch and/or vendor directly.  
  • Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Past experience would include shipping/receiving, and material handling 
  • HVAC/R experience along with customer service and/or sales preferred 
  • Forklift Experience preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Past experience would include shipping/receiving, and material handling. HVAC/R experience along with customer service and/or sales preferred.  

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Skill and ability to type 30-50 wpm, operate a computer, use 10 keys or calculators, organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, prioritize and handle multiple tasks and be able to operate warehouse technology equipment (RF guns, etc.). 

Good written and verbal communication skills along with good listening skills. 

Ability to drive large delivery trucks, such as box trucks.
