Ayan Maternity Health Care Support is searching for a Doula Project Coordinator for the Birth & Postpartum Doula Services Programs. This position serves as the main point of contact for client enrollment, doula scheduling, and documentation. The coordinator ensures accurate and timely processing of doula invoices, tracks high-risk clients assigned to High-Risk Doulas, manages class registration, and supports the distribution of baby supplies to families. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, capable of managing connections with Doula and clients, and maintains a high level of attention to detail. We work as a true partner with the communities we serve, and we provide culturally relevant resources to Refugee, New Immigrant, low-income families, and pregnant people to help them establish a strong and healthy foundation in this transformational time.
Work Schedule
This position is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week role with a fixed work schedule. Standard working hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, totaling 20 hours per week. The schedule is not flexible and requires the employee's consistent availability during designated work hours to ensure continuity of services and support for AMHCS clients, doulas, and programs.
Approximately 95% of this position will be performed in person at AMHCS offices, program sites, and community locations. The remaining 5% may be performed remotely, primarily for answering client and doula calls, responding to urgent communications, coordinating doula-client assignments, and addressing occasional program needs that arise outside regular office hours. Such remote work is intended solely to ensure timely communication and continuity of support for clients and doulas.
Position Summary:
The Doula Project Coordinator oversees all coordination of doula services, childbirth and parenting education, and maternal support resources within Ayan Maternity Health Care Support (AMHCS).
This position serves as the main point of contact for client enrollment, doula scheduling, and documentation. The coordinator ensures accurate and timely processing of doula invoices, tracks high-risk clients assigned to High-Risk Doulas, manages class registration, and supports the distribution of baby supplies to families. Although the employee has previously worked for AMHCS in a part-time capacity, the first sixty (60) days of full-time employment beginning August 1, 2026, shall serve as an introductory period.
Benefits
The employee will be eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO) in accordance with AMHCS policies.
At this time, AMHCS does not provide health insurance benefits. As a nonprofit organization, AMHCS currently does not have the financial capacity to offer employer-sponsored health insurance coverage. AMHCS reserves the right to review and modify its benefits offerings in the future as organizational resources permit.

The employee may engage in independent contractor work or serve in another contracted role outside of this position, provided such activities do not create a conflict of interest, interfere with the employee's responsibilities at AMHCS, or violate any AMHCS policies.
At-Will Employment
Employment with Ayan Maternity Health Care Support (AMHCS) is at-will. This means that either the employee or AMHCS may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice and with or without cause, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. The employee acknowledges and understands that acceptance of this position does not guarantee employment for a specific period of time and that continued employment is contingent upon organizational needs, funding availability, employee performance, and compliance with AMHCS policies and procedures.
