Position Overview

Hamlin Building Center is seeking a detail-oriented, personable Draftsperson to join our team in Lake Norden, SD. In this role, you will play a crucial part in taking project requirements and translating them into accurate building plans that meet our company standards. The ideal candidate brings strong drafting skills paired with exceptional interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

•
Drafting Process & HBC Standards:

•
Execute drafting tasks following established Hamlin Building Center (HBC) process frameworks.

•
Ensure every plan rigorously complies with internal HBC quality standards and design specifications.

•
Drafting Schedule & Timeline Management:

•
Actively manage drafting deadlines to align with overall project timelines and construction schedules.

•
Coordinate project delivery dates to keep workflow moving smoothly for both internal teams and external customers.
