You will work with various engineering disciplines to accomplish assigned tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\n * Accept work direction from other drafters/designers, engineers, and manager on assigned projects.\n * Work from rough engineering notes, drawings, sketches and general instructions to create facility/equipment designs and layouts.\n * Design minor components or portions of major systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.\n * Complete extensive 3-D modeling of architectural, electrical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, and piping systems in AutoCAD.\n * Create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with drawing standards.\n * Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness on schedule and budget.\n * Proficient computer skills to improve data entry task is a plus.\n\n\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n * HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate\u2019s Degree in formal educational program in Mechanical Drafting/Design/CAD or Technical design preferred.\n * 0 - 2 years minimum CAD experience, experience with AutoCAD and Microstation a plus.\n * Ability to parametrically model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently.\n * Ability to create/update associative drawings in conformance with ASME drawing standards.\n * Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning \u0026 Tolerancing and ASME Y14.5M.\n * Microsoft Office experience.\n * US Citizen and ability to obtain a clearance.\n * Good written and verbal communication skills.\n * Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.\n * Strong mechanical skills.\n * Good business ethics, personal organization and trustworthiness.\n * Strong willingness and ability to learn.\n * Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.\n * Candidate must be comfortable working extended periods of time at a workstation.\n * Candidate must be comfortable working on a construction site.\n\n\n\nIntermediate Level Drafter/Designer (Designer 2)\n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\nAs a Facilities Drafter/Designer your responsibilities will be to fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using AutoCAD, and create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
