Description

Primary Purpose:

Provides technical support in the development of construction drawings, field sketches, and material takeoffs of structural and piping components.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare material take-offs using design drawings for estimating and procurement of materials purposes.
• Develop structural, piping drawings, and field sketches in support of project requirements – roll letters, cut sheets, etc.
• Performs periodic field visits and provides on-site technical support.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, Walking
• Turning, twisting, bending, and stooping
• Balancing, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing
• Lifting - employees must be able to lift to 15 pounds

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma.

Desirable Experience:

• Blueprint reading required
• Experience with MS-Word & MS-Excel required
• Minimum of two (2) years of AutoCAD experience

Tools and Equipment Used:

• Office equipment

Environmental Conditions:

80 to 90% of the work activities are performed indoors.
