Draftsman

Job Duties

• Posses the ability to create manual and computer based drawings using the recent versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD inventor


• Posses the skills to create two-and three-dimensional drawings manually and using AutoCAD and AutoCAD inventor


• The Draftsman should be able to create drawings according to the suggestions and direction of the architect, engineer or the customer


• Ability to put thoughts into action as far as making drawings are concerned 


• After the completion of the initial sketches, the draftsman should present them to the architect and/or engineer for appropriate implementation


• Create and prepare bill of materials for the equipment or project as required 

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and use of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor 


• Should have a degree in formal education or past the certification program required for work


• Should possess good communications skills


• Should be a good listener


• Should be familiar with Microsoft Suite


• May also possess a degree in architecture or engineering
