Description

As the Network Sales, Dray Backhaul Associate, you will price volume within our street network to reduce unused capacity. This will be a fast-paced position embedded with operations where interacting with network planners will be critical to your success. If you love searching for new business and you are good at negotiating deals, join us at STG. What you'll do:

· Develop creative solutions to mitigate cost, or create margin, using the STG intermodal street network

· Work with other sales teams to identify and develop solutions

· Create quotes and sales proposals for company services

· Collaborate with the yield management and OTR solutions teams on pricing decisions

· Communicate pricing decisions with the customer

· Ensure and promote operational execution

What you'll have:

· An interest in building a career with a growth-oriented company

· Proven ability to negotiate deals with a high sense of urgency

· Experience in direct sales; experience working in a deadline-driven environment

· Ability to build client relationships quickly to establish and maintain a profitable book of business

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work as part of a team

· Business-minded work style with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
