Driller Helper

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a full-time Driller's Helper in the Hagerstown area to join our team!

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a physically active environment, and has a strong mechanical mindset? We’re looking for Driller’s Helpers to support the daily operations of our auger-based and CPT drill rigs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a hardworking, safety-focused team making a real impact in the field.

What You’ll Do:

  Assist with the operation and maintenance of drilling equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Work hands-on in the field, in all types of weather

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with a skilled team and follow directions with precision

  
  


• 
  

  Operate safely and responsibly, with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  
  


• 
  

  Utilize your mechanical abilities—and if you have welding experience, even better!

  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 
  

  A valid Maryland driver’s license and clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  The ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly—this is a physically demanding job

  
  


• 
  

  A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependability

  
  


• 
  

  Someone who enjoys working outdoors and shows up on time, every time

  
  


• 
  

  Mechanical aptitude is essential; welding skills are a strong plus
