Job Title: Ambulance Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ambulance Driver to join our team. As an Ambulance Driver, you will be responsible for transporting patients to medical facilities in a safe and timely manner. You will work closely with medical professionals to ensure that patients receive the care they need.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain ambulance vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

- Transport patients to medical facilities while providing basic life support as needed

- Communicate effectively with medical professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate care

- Maintain accurate records of patient transport and medical care provided

- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures

- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Education Experience

•  High school diploma or equivalent required.
•  Current driver’s license
•  CPR certification
•  Ambulance drivers’ certificate
•  Understanding of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures that apply to ambulance service.
•  Good interpersonal communication skills.
•  Ability to work well under pressure.

Job Requirements

•  Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
•  Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times with or without assistance.
•  Must be able to pass DOT physical and background check
