Description

Primary Purpose:

To transport FoundCare clients to and from FoundCare's community health center and their private residence in a safe and professional manner.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Drive to various locations and service areas.
• Provide support assistance to patients scheduling appointments.
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and move moderately heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
• Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Computer skills to assist with patient check-in processes, including using electronic health records or similar software systems.

Requirements

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and/or stand for short, intermittent, or extended periods as required by job duties.
• Physical agility to push/pull, squat, twist, and turn.
• Ability to travel to other departments, conference rooms, and, on occasion, to off-site locations to accomplish job responsibilities, attend meetings, workshops, seminars, etc.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably with large vehicles or RVs.
• Experience in a healthcare setting or patient-facing environment is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED
