Job Description - Driver


  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Perform all position requirements safely, following all required safety policies and procedures
  • Retain maintenance records, daily logs, and truck inspection records
  • Keep appearance of assigned truck clean, inside, and out
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find delivery locations
  • Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
  • Exceptional communication and people skills to interact with clients
  • Drivers are responsible for transporting to and from clients and handling deliveries in a timely manner, and they may have to work nights and weekends to accomplish their duties.
  • Keep mileage records and repair records up to date

Requirements

  • Clean driving record: MVR, PSP, Clearinghouse
  • Must be able to pass a medical examination for DOT medical card
  • Minimum of 1 year driving a commercial DOT regulated vehicle, hauling heavy and light rental equipment and a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience to perform the job safely
  • Experience loading, securing, and unloading heavy and light equipment
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Familiarity with DOT logbook and e-logs
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends
