Logan Contractors Supply is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1990 and is a leader in the construction supply industry. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Driver at our Des Moines, IA location. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operating semi-tractor and trailer


• Loading, unloading, and strapping all truckloads


• Delivering truckloads in a safe and timely manner


• Use of pallet jack, forklift


• Safely transport goods to and from specified destinations.


• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.


• Load and unload products/equipment when required.


• Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good condition.


• Maintain logs of working hours and delivery times.


• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.


• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

Training

• Forklift experience preferred, but on-site training available

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with air brakes


• Satisfactory driving record


• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & physical testing
