Responsibilities

Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents

Transportation to a nearby garage

Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route

Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage

Safely load cars onto the back of your truck

Keep your truck clean and in good condition

Remove illegally parked vehicles

Qualifications

A license to drive a motor vehicle

A compliant motor vehicle record

Ability to pass a medical certification to drive a tow vehicle

Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and randomly

Minimum of 1 year roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck

Ability to record daily trip on a DOT Log Book and conduct a daily pre-trip inspection

Strong communication, time management skills and basic mechanical skills

Attention to detail when documenting work

Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
