Job Title: Data Collection Driver

Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site)
Pay: $28–$32 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (usually 30+ hours/week)
 

Job Summary:

Helm.ai is looking for safe and reliable drivers to collect data for an autonomous vehicle project. You’ll drive a company car around specific areas, recording video and mapping locations. This is part of an important project to improve AI driving systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive a company vehicle for 8–10 hours per day, including night shifts (25%–50% of the time)

• Record video and map locations during your route

• Handle and organize data collected during your shift

• Follow safety rules and project instructions carefully

• Work independently during your shift (you’ll be driving solo)

Travel & Training (Required):

• Sept 1 – Oct 1: Training in Redwood City / Bay Area

• Oct 1 – Dec 1: Work in Los Angeles

• Travel, hotel, and meal expenses are covered

What You Need:

• A clean driving record (must provide driving history)

• Experience driving professionally (Uber, Lyft, delivery, etc.)

• Comfortable working alone and for long hours

• Willing and able to drive at night

• Responsible and detail-oriented

• Bonus: Experience with autonomous vehicles or digital data is helpful but not required
