Reporting/Department Head: Vice President of Community Services & Infection Control Prevention

MAJOR FUNCTION: Delivery of necessary items throughout the CompleteCare Health Network safely.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Maintain daily transport logs 
• Fingerprint with State of New Jersey Department of Education before hire.
• Transport mail to the post office daily or to UPS as needed.
• DOT Certification after hired (Has 60 days to obtain) 
• Transport Supplies to all CompleteCare locations daily.
• Submits daily logs to VP of Community Service by the month’s third.
• Transports patients to CompleteCare medical center’s schedule.
• Operates vehicle safely and courteously:
• Keeps assigned vehicle in a clean and well-maintained condition.
• Coordinates van maintenance.
• Checks vehicle before driving.
• Wears seatbelt and ensures medical and dental appointments van rules.
• Transport school-age children to a medical and dental appointment with chaperones as needed.
• Takes vehicle to the carwash at least twice a month.
• Informs supervisor of special cleaning/repair.
• Drivers and operates Mobile Medical Unit 
• Assist patients as needed on the mobile medical unit. 
• Clean and disinfect Mobile medical unit daily. 
• Performs other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Fingerprint with State of New Jersey Department of Education before hire
• Must be 21 years of age
• Current/valid New Jersey driver’s license with CDL
• Experience in driving large vehicles including but not limited to trucks/buses
• Be able to lift 50 Pounds.
• Clean driving record.
