Driver Class A 3rd Shift

This is a 3rd Shift Role (start time may vary from 10PM-12AM- working 10–12-hour days)

The job involves assisting with the loading and unloading of ducks at a grower's farm. Drivers use a truck and trailer to load ducks, working with a company helper and farm residents. Typically, they complete two loads a day, resulting in a workweek of 40 to 55 hours. 

Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pickup route for the day. 

Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. 

Ensure the truck receives regular servicing according to the maintenance schedule; report any larger service needs and mechanical issues to the supervisor. 

Assist with general duties once the delivery route is completed. 

Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Walk and transport ducks onto and off the truck. 

Load the appropriate number of ducks into each pen on the trailer. 

Open and close the pen lids on the trailers. - Assist with barn setup and ramp adjustments. 

Help the driver back the semi-trailer onto farms and to the ramp. 

Clean and wash the trailers. 

Provide assistance as needed to support the trucking department or overall live production.
