Driver / Delivery Tech- FT Dayton, Ohio 11am-7pm

Facilitates daily delivery to patients and proper operation of delivery vehicle. To provide delivery of program related medications, supplies, and equipment to customers. Monitors vehicle for proper operation. ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients. Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment. Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use. Ensures vehicles are in proper working condition. Ensures preventive maintenance on vehicles is performed on a timely basis according to DOT, FDA and JCAHO. Performs routine vehicle maintenance including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes. Performs regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor. Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required. At least one year of related experience is required. Excellent customer service skills required. Must meet job-related requirements to comply with DOT, FDA, and JCAHO regulations. Must have capability of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
