Driver for Automobile Dealership- Non CDL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Driver for our Automobile Dealership at Blake Fulenwider Ford of Andrews, located in Andrews, Texas. This will be a full-time position with a base salary plus commission opportunities. As a Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering vehicles to and from various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation while providing exceptional customer service. Furthermore, you must be skilled in pulling a trailer, as this will be the key mode of transporting vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• - Safely load, unload and pull a trailer


• - Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from customer’s homes, offices, and other locations in a timely and safe manner


• - Conduct a pre-trip inspection of the vehicle, checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and overall condition


• - Document any damage or issues with the vehicle and report them to the appropriate department


• - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and ensure the vehicle is operated in a safe and professional manner


• - Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner


• - Assist with vehicle detailing and wash as needed


• - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and service department


• - Load and unload vehicles onto the transporter truck


• - Other tasks as assigned by the management team

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver or in the automotive industry preferred
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
