Summary

The Driver I – Merchandise/Hospitality role is responsible for driving established delivery/vendor pick up routes between our warehouses and our Hospitality locations throughout Southern California. This team member will also be the designated backup for the Warehouse duties with being responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders as necessary which may include beer, materials, apparel, and other merchandise items.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm*

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading Class B Box Truck with beer, empty kegs, and other merchandise, and delivering between buildings several times a day.
• Accurately verifying, arranging, and securing loads for designated deliveries at the start of each day and after each delivery.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure trucks/trailers are kept clean and well maintained by maintenance instructions.
• Following all road regulations and drive safely and courteously as a representative of Stone Brewing.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, and DOT compliance regulations
• Receive, stock, load and ensure merchandise and other materials are processed safely and efficiently.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy and specified beers and/or other warehouse supplies and material. Matches loads to purchase orders or bills of lading.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• An active Class B license issued by the state of CA with a clean MVR.
• 3+ years of previous and relevant experience driving a Class B or larger commercial vehicles.
• At least 3 years of related experience and/or training working in a Warehouse; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Previous experience and/or training with an Electric Walkie Pallet Jack highly preferred.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and days that deviate from regular work schedules.
• Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and safety consciousness
• Solid written and oral communication and comprehension skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to handle up to 170 lb. frequently throughout shift.
