Driver Non-CDL

Description

A Non-CDL Driver will be responsible for safely transporting building materials to customers, job sites, and company locations while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dedicated to timely and professional deliveries.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport building materials to customers and job sites.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring accuracy and proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering materials on time and in good condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and paperwork.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and order preparation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, sales teams, and customers regarding deliveries and schedules.
• Work on the yard as needed. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with an “F” endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid medical card (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in construction or building materials.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
