With 35 years of experience, Summit Point Motorsports Park and Training Facility provides Commercial Motorsports events along with customized Security and Emergency Medical training solutions on our 786-acre facility located in Summit Point, WV. At Summit Solutions Group (SSG), we are the mission support arm of the Summit Point Training Facility. As a dedicated US Government contractor, we specialize in delivering comprehensive solutions that ensure operational excellence and mission success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Driver Range Staff supports training and operations by assisting with vehicle movement, fueling, and positioning on the range. This role ensures safe and efficient vehicle operations, manages refueling procedures, and supports compliance with HAZMAT and vehicle safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong driving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work as part of a fast-paced training environment.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will commence only if the contract is awarded. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Operate and position vehicles as required to support training operations.
• Perform refueling of vehicles in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Assist with basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support HAZMAT handling, documentation, and compliance requirements related to fuel and vehicle operations.
• Ensure all vehicle operations follow established safety procedures.
• Coordinate with training staff to stage and recover vehicles during exercises.
• Provide general support for range operations as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with safe fueling and vehicle operation practices.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Preferred:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HAZMAT endorsement or certification.
• Prior experience with vehicle operations, fueling, or range support.
• Vehicle safety or HAZMAT training certifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Standing, walking, and operating vehicles for extended periods.
