Driver System Operator

Description

United PARADYNE Corporation is currently accepting applications for a full-time Driver System Operator to provide aircraft refueling and related services at Naval Air Station Jacksonville.

• Perform fuel servicing operations (refuel/defuel operations) by mobile fuel servicing equipment/trucks, truck supplied pantograph and hoses sets, and fixed direct fuel servicing systems (hydrants).
• Shall be familiar with safety regulations applicable to aviation and ground fuel servicing operations on and around the airfield and supported activities and shall demonstrate a practical knowledge of and ability to inspect and maintain fuel servicing equipment and systems.
• Make basic input to the Fuels Manager Defense (FMD) Dispatch Module, or maintain dispatch logs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• 1+Years in Commercial Tank Vehicle Operations/Aircraft refueling or similar operations.
• Class A CDL HAZMAT & T/T Endorsements and maintain a clean driving record.
• DOT physical and random drug/alcohol testing requirements, physically capable of performing all duties including climbing on tank trucks to perform checks and visual inspections and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable base accesses/clearances as required by DLA.
• Ability to execute emergency shut down procedures within a minimal time frame.
• Shall pass a base and flight-line familiarization test, a practical equipment/facility competency test, and shall be certified as qualified.
