Driver/ Vehicle Operator - 2nd Shift

As an Autonomous Vehicle Operator, you’ll play a critical role in advancing self-driving technology by operating AV platforms on public and private roads, collecting valuable data, and troubleshooting technical issues in real time. Your insights will directly help engineers improve and refine this groundbreaking innovation.

We’re looking for detail-oriented, safety-minded professionals who are passionate about technology and can adapt to fast-changing environments.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate autonomous vehicles for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) on a variety of road types and conditions.
• Maintain high safety standards both inside and outside of the vehicle.
• Stay alert and demonstrate strong situational awareness while adapting to evolving driving and technology conditions.
• Collect critical data using proprietary software and hardware tools, and provide clear, timely feedback to engineering teams.
• Serve as a professional ambassador for the technology, interacting respectfully with the public, engineers, and leadership.
• Mentor and train new operators, sharing best practices and promoting team excellence.
• Organize and distribute key operational documents to the appropriate team members.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or prior autonomous testing experience.
• 7+ years of clean, safe driving experience (valid U.S. driver’s license required; DMV check will be conducted).
• Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot and learn proprietary tools quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to adapt to high-pressure, fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
• Safe driving skills in all weather conditions (including snow).
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of autonomous vehicle driving experience.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.

Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00PM - 12:00AM
