Driver/Porter

Description

We are looking for a responsible Motorcycle Delivery Driver to aid Sales and Service deliver and or pick up customer/company motorcycles. You will represent our company in a professional and ethical manner by following delivery driving routes and time schedules and following DOT regulations and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver and pickup customer motorcycles from various locations in Miami-Dade and Broward County

Provide prompt, dependable, high quality service transferring units in and out of the Service Department

Move and clean motorcycles and help the Service Manager as requested

Maintain clean, efficient work areas and service facility, including company property such as work trucks and trailers

Operate forklift and maintain warehouse by moving current inventory or unloading new inventory off freight trucks

May be required to assist with washing and/or detailing units periodically

Working Conditions:

Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department

Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles

Frequently works near moving mechanical parts

Requirements

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and motorcycle endorsement

Clean driving record

Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products and services sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them

Passion for the motorcycling lifestyle and riding community

Attention to detail and ability to handle requests quickly and courteously

Maintain a positive attitude and relationship with all other employees

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, Holidays, and evenings

Follow directions thoroughly and efficiently and be proficient in meeting deadlines 

Physical Demands:

High energy level needed

Capable of pushing and loading motorcycles

Requires the use of both hands

Frequently required to bend, stop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift 50lbs of material

Requires the ability to balance and push an 500+lb motorcycle

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
