JOB TITLE: Driver/Powder Coat General Laborer  

JOB SUMMARY  

The Driver/Powder Coat General Laborer is responsible for short distance driving between our Diamondback facilities, customers, and vendors as well us undertaking General Laborer duties such as loading and unloading the trucks.   

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of driving trucks with a flatbed trailer 
• Ability to change a tire, use ratchet straps, and connect truck and trailer
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, industrial machine shop, or related work environment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs unassisted frequently and repetitively

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and comprehend part prints
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work on a team or independently, provide help/assistance to others; communicate verbally and through written or typed communication regularly
• Strong sense of urgency with ability to work in fast-paced environment

CORE DUTIES

• Driving between our Diamondback facilities, customers, and vendors
• Maintain driver and mileage logs 
• Read a map, follow directions, and navigate to customers
• Weekly vehicle inspection including checking fluids, tire pressure, lights, and other assessments
• Communicating with Diamondback facilities, customers, and vendors for pickup and drop-off of product
• Responsible for inspection of incoming and outgoing product
• Lifting, carrying, and setting up heavy equipment and parts onto racks, flatbed trailers, or into cabinets
• Preparing parts for the paint shop by sanding, hanging, and cleaning towers
• Frequently clean and organize equipment and work areas
• Prepping and loading product onto low deck trailers
• Assist in large booth sandblasting and hand cabinet sandblasting 
• Moving parts/products as needed
• Other duties as assigned

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Friday- overtime as needed 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background, motor vehicle, and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
