Driver/Support Services Specialist

Our goal is to place individuals and families in permanent, stable housing and provide the needed tools and support to develop self-sufficiency. Equitable Social Solutions impacts lives by creating tailored solutions for each person we serve in order to break the cycles of generational poverty and chronic homelessness.

The primary responsibility of the Driver/Support Service Specialist is to provide transportation services to clients participating in the program. 

• Follows a planned driving route, making scheduled stops to pick up and drop off clients for appointments and/or meetings.
• Assists passengers with boarding/off-boarding van as needed.
• Visually inspects van at the beginning and end of each route/work shift.
• Reports mechanical issues with the van to the Program Manager.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the van at all times.
• Inspects the van to ensure no personal items are left behind by clients.
• Maintains a daily transportation log for pick up/drop off and submits daily log to the Program Manager at the end of the work shift.
• Adheres to and participates in company's mandatory Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy program/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices
• Performs other duties assigned

High School Graduate or GED required. 

Must have a valid driver license with clean driving record.

Knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Demonstrated crisis management ability

Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

Able to work independently and part of a team

Organized and able to function under minimal supervision

Excellent time management skills.

Hourly Pay: $22/hr
