Driver/Warehouse Associate

One of the city’s largest electrical contractors is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role primarily involves delivering materials to job sites, with general warehouse duties after deliveries are complete.

Position Details

• Schedule:      Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some overtime required)
• Location:      Indianapolis and surrounding counties
• Employment Type:      Full-time

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites using light-duty trucks, large box trucks, or stake-bed trucks
• Pick up special dispatches from vendors
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
• Perform general warehouse duties after deliveries are complete, including but not limited to sweeping, stocking, rearranging,      sorting, and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, following all safety procedures and daily inspections

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 70 lbs., cutting wire, and climbing      ladders
• Experience safely operating warehouse equipment and using proper PPE
• Valid CDL-Class B license (required)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet drug testing requirements
• Strong attendance record and work ethic
• Team player with the ability to work efficiently and accurately
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Preferred: Forklift and scissor lift training
• Familiarity with electrical products is a plus
