Drug Court Case Manager 

Employment Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt

Pay: $18.00 per hour – Higher based on experience and education

About the Position

IMPOWER is seeking a Drug Court Case Manager to support the Seminole County Juvenile Drug Court, a diversion program that provides youth involved with the juvenile justice system access to treatment and supportive services as an alternative to further involvement in the justice system.

The Case Manager works collaboratively with the State Attorney’s Office, Circuit 18 Courts, treatment providers, families, and community partners to coordinate services and support youth participating in the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-screening assessments for potential participants
• Participate in Drug Court hearings and treatment team meetings
• Coordinate services and communicate with court personnel, treatment providers, families, and community partners
• Monitor and document participant enrollment, compliance, progress, and discharge
• Maintain required information in the State Drug Court Case Management System and other applicable systems
• Schedule and facilitate weekly parenting psychoeducational groups
• Coordinate random drug-screening activities and maintain required documentation
• Conduct random curfew checks as assigned
• Complete required clinical and program documentation within established timeframes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field required
• Minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk youth and their families
• Experience in a court, juvenile justice, behavioral health, or related setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
• Candidates must successfully complete required background and drug screenings. A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required as applicable to the position.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include Level II background screening, local law enforcement checks, drug screening, verification of education and credentials, and E-Verify and drug screening. 

A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required as applicable to the position.
