Job Description - Drug Program Specialist 1

Are you looking for a new and exciting career? The Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation is seeking a licensed pharmacist dedicated to upholding the standards of the pharmacy profession. The Drug Program Specialist 1 is responsible for ensuring that a high standard is maintained by performing detailed inspections

to determine compliance with the laws, rules, and regulations. Bring your talent and ambition to our department and unleash you potential!
As a Drug Program Specialist 1, you will be conducting physical inspections of pharmacies, issuing citations, testifying

at formal and informal hearings, and appearing as a witness for the State in formal judicial proceedings. You will be responsible for providing

limited investigative support activities, preparing reports of activities, and augmenting investigative teams. You will have the opportunity to travel to various sites in a geographical area of the state as well as attend training sessions to maintain and expand your knowledge and skills. You must be available for temporary reassignment statewide, as directed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Special Requirements:
Possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
