DRY LABORATORY

Description

Responsible for providing laboratory related customer (in-House) service, plant chemistry troubleshooting and support for outside certification requirements (ISO, Nadcap, etc.) including managing corrective action/preventative programs.

Duties include reviewing laboratory standards and operations for all aspects of the continuous improvement process, compiling and analyzing test information to determine the operating efficiency of laboratory processes and equipment to diagnose problems and malfunctions.

• Perform microsection analysis as required to evaluate product quality
• Perform additional physical analysis to evaluate product quality
• Perform microsection analysis to support periodic conformance, process capabilities and failure analysis
• Organize and maintain records of all tests and evaluations as required

Requirements

High School Diploma with a minimum of three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent of education and experience is required.
