Large historic apartment community is seeking to hire their own motivated **Drywall/Painter** to join a growing team working on units in the Downtown Richmond area. The **Drywall/Painter** will be responsible for all aspects of drywall installation, finishing, and painting tasks, ensuring high-quality work with a focus on appearance and durability for apartment units. This role involves collaborating with other maintenance staff to meet deadlines and maintain property standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and finish drywall to company standards.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
• Effectively paint and finish interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring even coats and a professional appearance.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and schedule tasks to meet project timelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders efficiently.

Experience in drywall installation, finishing, and painting required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders.
